ABOUT LK SHAW
LK Shaw is the founder of the creative practice LØVCHLD
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Shaw has spent her career working across photography, film, writing, performance, and creative direction. Although the mediums changed, one question quietly began to emerge:
What if creativity wasn't simply something we used to make art, but a way of navigating our lives?
Following the loss of a former partner in 2019, Shaw began painting shoes as a way of processing grief. What began as an act of healing quietly evolved into a new relationship with creativity.
Years later, while studying Creative Direction, Shaw realised that every creative discipline had offered a different way of understanding herself and her place in the world. As her curiosity deepened, so did her understanding of who she was and the life she wanted to create.
That shift in perspective extended far beyond her creative practice. It gave her the confidence to trust her instincts, make bold decisions, and shape a life that felt true to who she was.
That realisation became the foundation of LØVCHLD.
Today, Shaw lives in London, where she develops LØVCHLD through workshops, creative tools, and multidisciplinary experiences that invite people to reconnect with their creativity and discover it as a practice for navigating life.
